The What's Your Tree Curriculum

What's Your Tree Group in Denton, TXWhat's Your Tree Group in Denton, TX The What's Your Tree Curriculum is designed for small groups (typically 6-12 people) that meet in living rooms, libraries, churches and coffee houses.

It is made up of four modules:

  • 101 Curriculum: A 7-10 week curriculum that helps participants articulate their individual purpose, and specific ways to use that purpose as a driving force in their life. It instills thoughtful conversation and exploration of each person's deeper calling and how to create one's life around that calling.

  • 201 Curriculum: A 2 day (or one weekend) curriculum to support groups in going from an "individual" point of view to a group and community point of view. Groups come together to develop a powerful community vision and begin to build a plan for action.
  •

  • 301 Curriculum: A set of materials and coaching resources for groups that are ready to transform their communities.
  •

  • 401 Curriculum: Training materials, conferences, mentoring resources and more - all designed for What's Your Tree's stellar group leaders.
  •

Everyone in the program first participates in the 101 curriculum, although from there, the pathways for engagement are different, depending upon each person's purpose and interest. Some groups stay together after the 101 curriculum is complete. Some groups merge with other groups to do the 201 curriculum together. Others see that their true passion is community organizing and leadership, and they apply to become a What's Your Tree group leader.

Ultimately, we are building communities of people who are lit up by purpose, living their life powerfully and making choices that call them courageously forward into creating the kind of world they want to live in.

Whatever each person's individual pathway is, we want to see them connected, cared for, and in community -- because at the end of the day, being in community is the best (and funnest) way to change the world!
